1. Equipment Introduction:

The NKNZ-10 Metal Wire Torsion Testing Machine is a new type of digital display metal wire torsion testing machine developed by our factory, primarily used for torsion testing of wires with a diameter of Ф0.1 ≤ d ≤ Ф10.0 mm. This model adopts a horizontal structure, using an AC motor in combination with a high-precision reducer. The controller is an embedded system independently developed by our company, featuring high stability, large torque, high control precision, long travel, and self-centering sample clamping.

The metal wire torsion testing machine is suitable for the standards of the GB/T 239.1/2-2012 "Metal Wire Unidirectional and Bidirectional Torsion Test Methods," as well as ISO 7800:2003 "Metal Wire-Unidirectional Torsion Test Method" and ISO 9649:1990 "Metal Wire-Bidirectional Torsion Test Method."

The wire torsion testing machine is mainly used to determine the ability of metal wires to undergo plastic deformation during unidirectional or bidirectional torsion and to reveal surface and internal defects of the wire. It provides a reliable measurement method for wire manufacturers and users. Unidirectional torsion refers to the sample being uniformly rotated 360 degrees around its axis in one direction as a single torsion until the specified number of cycles or until fracture. Bidirectional torsion refers to the sample being uniformly rotated 360 degrees around its axis in one direction as a single torsion to the specified number of cycles, followed by rotation in the opposite direction for the same number of cycles or until fracture.

3. Structural Features

3.1 Mechanical Structure
This model uses a high-performance AC motor as the power output, coupled with a high-precision reduction motor, ensuring smooth power output. The motor drive adopts a high-reliability, high-stability frequency converter, improving the smooth operation of the machine and reducing power consumption. One chuck is fixed on the motor output shaft, while the other is fixed on a movable bearing seat. The movable seat uses linear bearings, minimizing friction resistance. Both chucks use elastic centering chucks, ensuring the coaxiality of the sample clamping and the straightness of the axial movement. The axial tension is applied by weights, with the force applied to the wire through pulleys. With additional configurations, the equipment can also perform winding tests on steel wires with a diameter of no more than 7mm (this function requires special ordering).


3.2 Control Unit
The control system uses a liquid crystal touch screen controller, combined with mature control methods, ensuring control precision and operational stability. The display screen is an industrial-grade liquid crystal touch screen, featuring long life, stable performance, and a wide viewing angle. The counter is a Hall sensor with strong anti-interference capability, high sensitivity, and good dynamic performance. The machine also has an automatic wire breakage detection function.
